The Lions will be holding a recycling drive in the community at the end of the month. Any type of used electronics may be dropped off for recycling, including computers, monitors, keyboards, mice, cables, printers, copiers, fax machines, digital cameras, cell phones, hearing aids, and eyeglasses. Please DO NOT bring TVs; we will not take those. Items will be refurbished and donated to charities if usable; others will be broken down into raw materials and recycled-nothing will go to the landfill! (And, no, eyeglasses are not electronics, but we take those all year around.)
The event is at Estrella Plaza (Toon Town) on May 30 and 31 from 4:00-7:00 and Saturday June 1 from 10:00-4:00. Watch for signs for the exact storefront!
